Welcome to Al Maha Modern English Kindergarten in Dafna, the newest branch of the Al Maha English Schools. The Kindergarten was opened in August 2006 to meet the demand for English taught within an Islamic environment. Since opening we have increased our roll from 200 to over 300 and we are going from strength to strength.
We aim to provide opportunties for child-centred, experiential learning, where children are taught in small groups to maximise individual learning opportunities. Young children learn through exploring their evironment, experimentation and play, as well as through more structured activities. Our curriculum delivered in English is based on the UK Early Years Foundation Stage, adapted to our children's needs and setting, alongside this is our strong Arabic and Islamic curriculum is delivered by specialist teachers.
We are conveniently situated in an easily accessible location near Qatar Sports Club and the City Centre.
